Hailing from Orange County, California, and emerging onto the writing scene as a freshman in high school, Andrew Pahl published his debut book after studying several years of college-level biology and developing a love of nature that became central to his writing.
Andrew always had a strong connection to storytelling growing up. He used to write short stories with his grandmother at the kitchen table nearly every day after preschool, which he largely credits with sparking his journey to becoming an author. In elementary and middle school, he wrote novellettes and other pieces of literature to hone his skills.
In high school, Andrew studied under romantic suspense and paranormal author, editor, and Oklahoma University writing instructor Kimberly McKay. Through this experience, he discovered the writing voice he chose to share with the world in his first book, Silence. Upon reaching this milestone, he began working with other creative writers new to the field, seeking to provide them with the same resources he had been given to succeed as a fledgling author.
